Ashridge Engineering appoints Sales and Marketing Manager
Ashridge Engineering, the Okehampton based designer and manufacturer of microprocessor based data collection equipment for the utilities industry, has appointed Mick Merrick as their Sales & Marketing Manager.
This is the first time that Ashridge Engineering has made such a Sales appointment and it reflects the growth of the company over the last few years into its traditional water, electricity and defence markets.
Mick comes with over 25 years experience in selling into the utilities sector in the UK and Export markets with a variety of private and publically quoted companies. He is looking forward to the challenge and as he points out, “This is a considerable investment for Ashridge and reflects their growing market share in sectors traditionally reserved for a small number of specialist companies”. He adds, “I have no doubt that based on Ashridges’ prudently managed growth and its outstanding product reliability record that I can use this to sell into companies that are not as aware of our record as they could be.” He finishes by saying, “Ashridge also has a reputation of being able to quickly turn customer product ideas into reality quickly and cost effectively – absolutely essential in this day and age.”
Ashridge Engineering Ltd designs and manufactures instrumentation for level, pressure, leakage management and winding temperature protection in a diverse range of industries. Current products include: Tank contents indicator/controllers, level and pressure transmitters, oil/water interface detectors, SMS based flow and pressure data loggers and a GSM based data logger for identifying leaks and trunk main bursts.
